My body loves me. After being back for a week and eating no animal products, my belly bloating has reduced significantly, I’ve lost nearly 3kg that I’d put on while eating processed foods and doing no exercise. My skin has also started to look hydrated and fresh with no makeup on. I’ve always had to put the ‘face’ on to look less tired! I have also had far less blemishes which is something I have dealt with my entire life and have scars to prove it!
I had eggs and haloumi with breakfast on Sunday = instant bloat! I couldn’t eat it all! I struggled through one egg and one piece of haloumi, but devoured the baked tomato, mushrooms and asparagus. Doesn’t that show how much my taste buds have changed?
I think it’s time for the 21 day raw reset. I will definitely have some trouble in a couple of weeks when I am in Townsville for 2 days, but I will endeavour to stick as closely as possible to vegan while I am there, and back on the reset when I get back!
From what I have been reading, some people have had some great side effects of a raw diet for even a few days!
For now, I made the most amazing dinner last night! The amazeballs Peanutty Pad Thai from VeggieGirl << Click there for her awesome blog! I also made a ridiculously good looking dessert too but it’s in the freezer waiting for me at home for tonight! That is the Banana Chocolate Caramel Ice Cream Cake from the delectable Em from This Rawsome Vegan Life. My vitamix got a workout last night!
For now, back to some fruit and work!
